New England chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association
Award is given to a nurse leader in New England who has made a significant contribution to the field of psychiatric nursing. Leadership award named for me is a tribute to having provided the initial funds and opportunity to launch the New England chapter in Boston in May/June,1993 and for having served as the president of the Amderican Psychiatric Nurses Association, which I helped to co-found in 1985, while employed as VP for Nursing at McLean hospital, Belmont, MA.
