Philosophy:
My clinical and research efforts are focused on the care of patients with lymphoma (Hodgkin's disease and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma), and related disorders such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). I am particularly interested in innovative treatments for aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, including stem cell transplant therapies, and strategies to minimize the toxicity of lymphoma treatment.
I believe that patients should play an active role in deciding which treatment is best for them. This requires educating the patient as much as possible regarding the nature of their disease and the risks and benefits of any proposed treatments.
