Philosophy:
I chose to be a physician because I knew from an early age that I liked to help people, asÃÂ I got older IÃÂ enjoyedÃÂ the challenge of taking care of people in a serious acute illness. I gravitated to cardiology because of the high pressure demands of treating patients with acute heart problems. The satisfaction ofÃÂ meeting a patientÃÂ in the hospitalÃÂ who is havingÃÂ a heart attack, restoring flow to their heartÃÂ and then seeing them get up and walk out in just a couple of days is so amazing. I know through our heart attack team at Saint AlphonsusÃÂ Regional Medical CenterÃÂ we are helping people lead longerÃÂ unimpaired lives every day. My goal for my patients is to become their physician and friend, andÃÂ follow them closely so the years go by without incidentÃÂ and marvel asÃÂ they get old gracefully!
