Philosophy:
I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families, and be able to offer them the full spectrum of treatments available for their injury or condition. This way, together we can determine the best treatment options for them based on their sports or activities. My job is rewarding when I can improve patient's pain or disability, and get them back to what they enjoy doing physically. Intellectually, I enjoy "figuring out" complex cases; helping patient's that other physician's have had difficulty diagnosing their conditions. I perform musculoskeletal ultrasound in the office, and can perform dynamic exams to elucidate problems not necessarily seen on static images such as xray or MRI. I also utllize non-standard treatments in difficult cases, such as PRP (platelet-rich plasma) or prolotherapy, if routine care is not working. If conservative care fails, I work with an excellent team of surgeons.
