Philosophy:
Jeffrey P. Menzner, MD is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He has a keen interest in improving the entire experience of patients undergoing joint replacement, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery and rehabilitation, and credits the development of a hospital-based joint replacement center for greatly improving the safety, comfort, and recovery of his hip and knee replacement patients. Dr. Menzner earned his bachelor's degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and Harvard fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital. He joined Boise Orthopedic Clinic in 1999, after serving on active duty as a U.S. Air Force orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Menzner has served on area hospital committees on patient safety, orthopedic supervisory, physician advisory, and credentialing. He is a member of the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society.
