After serving for 11 years in the military as a Black Hawk pilot and paratrooper, and completing two deployments to Afghanistan and multiple rotations to the Bahamas, my wife and I have chosen to make Wilmington our home. We love the beach and the small town feel that Wilmington offers and lets face it we are not moving back to Wisconsin to face 20 below winters. While in the military we made several moves and home purchases, so I know how painful and stressful making a cross country move can be on a family and all the small details that go into making it happen. My wife and I have also owned several investment properties in the past and we are always on the lookout for a good foreclosure or deal before it gets on the market.<br /><br />After leaving the military I worked for a time flying the police helicopter which has really helped me to learn what this area has to offer. However, when my son was born my priorities changed and I now fly only as a hobby. I also enjoy spending time boating, fishing, and an afternoon at the beach.
