My first exposure to Obstetrics & Gynecologic Surgery was getting to deliver babies as a medical student. The experience was indescribable and led me to pursue the specialty. I then did my surgery rotations and saw the other half of the specialty and discovered my skills as a surgeon. As an Ob/Gyn Surgeon I get to participate in the side of medicine that brings new life into the world and also practice preventative maintenance and corrective surgeries that improve quality of life.
