An elastic band with adjustable straps is fitted around the user's arms near the shoulders and a clasp is fitted to the adjustable straps to mount the umbrella in a stable manner. The clasp is opened, the umbrella handle is fitted into the clasp, and the clasp is closed to lock the umbrella in place relative to the adjustable straps and ultimately the user's body.
