Grip Strength Enhancement Glove Aka "Hercules' Hand "

US Patent:
2005005, Mar 10, 2005
Filed:
Sep 5, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/656095
Inventors:
William Rogers - San Antonio TX, US
International Classification:
A63B023/14
US Classification:
482044000
Abstract:
The present invention relates most specifically to a hand-exercising device that, in fact, is a glove. Unlike any “field” apparatus that has come before, it is not worn as an extension to a hand or worn on the top of a hand or strapped or worn on a glove; it is the glove. This allows the flexibility of either the entire hand or any individual digit in a natural movement through a full range of motion thereby exercising the hand and digits in the most prosperous, utilitarian method for full potential of strength improvement humanly possible. This unparalleled achievement is accomplished via strategically integrated slender, pliable, flexible, non-breakable, aluminum and/or aluminum and PVC combination “spring-stays” (as in “to stiffen”) sheathed within the heavy corrugated/striated material of the “apparatus-glove”. In addition, there is a “complete glove itself” model which is, in its entirety, made of one eighth to one sixteenth inch width/depth flexible, spring-aluminum and/or PVC and/or combination alloy-metal then covered and/or integrated within a full material covering which is skin/hand compatible. A fixed and/or resting glove/hand setting results in maximum resistance to both opening and closing movements. Areas for high potential usage pertaining specifically to all sports (football, basketball, golf, soccer, tennis, track & field, baseball, volley ball, et. al.), as well as capacities for therapeutic inclination within the medical, industrial, and business worlds are virtually without boundaries.

Electromagnetic Brain Animation

US Patent:
7771341, Aug 10, 2010
Filed:
Jul 24, 2003
Appl. No.:
10/627286
Inventors:
William Thomas Rogers - San Antonio TX, US
International Classification:
A61N 2/00
US Classification:
600 9
Abstract:
This invention pertains to apparatus methodology formulated to perform electromagnetic brain animation (EBA) for the purpose of partial or complete alleviation of specific mental impairments relating categorically to infant, early childhood, and adolescent target populations. EBA expressly refers to an original system and mechanized manner for determining and redirecting particular areas of the brain found to suffer from endemic and/or environmental injury. Electromagnetic brain animation is an enhanced initiative for positive influence on brain region neuron activity with the impetus to habilitate, rehabilitate and/or redirect dysfunctional cellular structure in direct correlation with greater pliability of evolving nervous systems in conjunction with superior biological plasticity due to specified group cluster. The EBA technical inclination, evolution and fruition of “animation” are specifically related to safety and success with early developing brains. Special areas targeted, but not limited to, include depression, dysthymia, attention deficit disorder, learning disability, memory loss, overanxious disorder, mild retardation, and autism.

Solar Power Source For A Lighting System

US Patent:
4314198, Feb 2, 1982
Filed:
Oct 1, 1979
Appl. No.:
6/080405
Inventors:
William E. Rogers - San Antonio TX
Assignee:
Solar Physics, Inc. - San Antonio TX
International Classification:
G05F 308, H02J 732
US Classification:
323351
Abstract:
A solar recharged power supply circuit for a lighting system which circuit includes a rechargeable power source, a solar powered recharger connected to that rechargeable power source and which circuit prevents discharge of that rechargeable power source through the solar powered recharger during times when the recharger is inactive; prevents overcharging of that power source; prevents discharging that power source below a predetermined level; and automatically connects and disconnects the lighting system to and from the rechargeable power source.
