Philosophy:
As an anesthesiologist, I believe the care of a patient in such a stress time in their life requires not only medical skills but also the ability to connect in such a way that you can reach a level of trust and ease the patients concerns and even put them at ease. I also prefer to perform regional and peripheral nerve blocks such that my patients have a very good chance to wake up pain free. In my opinion pain that is stopped before it begins is conducive to lesser pain overall during healing.
