Since 1991, William Owens, M.D., has been a practicing general surgeon in the West Bend area. His practice has included, but not been limited to, laparoscopic surgery including advanced laparoscopic procedures, gastrointestinal endoscopy, endocrine surgery, breast surgery including image-guided biopsy procedures and sentinel lymph node biopsy, and endovenous ablation and sclerotherapy of varicose vein disease. **
Dr. Owens earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. In 1990, he received the Walter A. Calihan, M.D., Outstanding Resident Award from Highland Hospital, also in Rochester. **
Dr. Owens resides in West Bend with his wife and three children. He enjoys long distance running and spending time with his family. **
