Wireless Equipment Skid System

US Patent:
2003000, Jan 2, 2003
Filed:
Jun 19, 2002
Appl. No.:
10/175434
Inventors:
Wayne Duley - Kents Store VA, US
International Classification:
B65D019/00
US Classification:
108/051110
Abstract:
The present invention is a wireless equipment skid comprising a base member having a top, a bottom, a front end and a rear end; an upright member; an extension member and a center panel located on the top of the base member. The base member is generally in a horizontal position, and the upright member is perpendicular to the base member. The extension member is parallel with the base member. The upright member is attached to the rear end of the base member and the extension member is attached to the front end. A pathway from the extension member to the upright member runs along the bottom of the base. The upright member houses a wireless communication device, the extension member houses a battery cabinet and the pathway houses a wiring system.

Bus Bar System, Method, And Kit

US Patent:
7704104, Apr 27, 2010
Filed:
Jun 26, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/215365
Inventors:
Wayne C. Duley - Kents Store VA, US
International Classification:
H01R 11/01
US Classification:
439756
Abstract:
A replacement bus system having one or more conductive shafts supporting wire attachment lugs and spacers that ride along the conductive shaft; the spacers are conductive and separate the attachment lugs. The lugs and spacers may be secured onto the shaft by a locking mechanism. By providing a shaft on which the lugs may ride, the wires are configured transversely to conventional approaches, enabling a greater number of wires to be connected over a given length and a wider variety of relative orientation of wires. This configuration also enables much of the structure to be manufactured from stainless steel or other non cuprous metal, except for the spacers, which may be manufactured from tinned copper.

Grounding And Energy Dispersion System

US Patent:
7655861, Feb 2, 2010
Filed:
Oct 31, 2007
Appl. No.:
11/980870
Inventors:
Wayne C. Duley - Kents Store VA, US
International Classification:
H01R 4/66
US Classification:
174 6, 174 3, 174 5 R, 174 51, 174 40 CC, 174 78, 439 98, 361753
Abstract:
A surge protector which has a metal grounding plate having holes and tubular sleeve guides, standard UL-approved ground rods that are inserted through the sleeve guides and are affixed to the sleeve guides using a durable exothermic weld, and leads attached at one end to the grounding plate also using an exothermic weld to affix any number of grounding devices, traditional ground rings, electronic equipment, structures, sites or combinations thereof. The durable exothermic weld is a permanent connection that stands in contrast to commonly used mechanical connections. The present invention also has a minimal footprint requirement allowing for placement in areas where space limitations are unsuitable for placement of conventional grounding rings. The present invention can be used in combination with or in lieu of conventional grounding rings.
