Description:

A Las Vegas resident since '91, I have seen this city weather huge ups and downs. The market here is stabilizing, with short sales decreasing and a gradual return to a more traditional market. Las Vegas has made great strides in keeping up with transportation demands, building new schools, and diversifying industry, and I look forward to the future with optimism.

Real Estate became my career of choice out of a desire to work in an environment that keeps me socially engaged and intellectually challenged, while enjoying it's offer of independence and reward for individual effort.

My background includes 15yrs in the gaming industry, starting as a Blackjack Dealer and later on as a Table Games Supervisor. My education has a split focus between accounting and gaming, completing the majority of my credits at Community College of Southern Nevada. I have also held accounting related positions, (payroll/billing), as well as various medical ancillary support positions, (Unit Coordinator/Telemetry Monitor Tech). Oh, not to forget, at the age of 18, I received my Cosmetology license.

Hobbies? Okay, I have invested a lot of time over the past 20yrs in genealogy research, completing my family tree as far back as the 1700s in the U.S. and Denmark, also tracing family lines to Ireland, England, and of course Germany (Prussia) - immigrating to the U.S. in the 1860s - all familylines engaging in farming primarily in Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana.I love the glimpse into history, imagining what life was like in previous centuries, and revel in the contrast of how we live today, with virtually everything at our fingertips.Even imagininglife in the U.S. prior to 1911, when there was no Income Tax, just Property Taxes. My, how things have changed...

I have to admit I participate in an NFL contest sponsored by one of the local casino groups. Not betting on individual games, just a one-time fee at the beginning of the season, allowing me to compete for weekly prizes based on picking winners/losers, and I love Sundays during the NFL season!

Born in IL, my familymoved to Tucson, AZ when I wasat a pretty young age, which is where I grew up and will always be my "home town". Prior to moving to Las Vegas, I also lived in Reno, NV and Portland, OR.
