Hospital Medicine Group (HMG), based in Baton Rouge, is one of the largest hospital medicine groups in the state of Louisiana. We started our program in 2001 with two physicians and the mission of providing high quality care to hospitalized patients.
Our commitment to quality and clinical excellence has helped define our growth. Today, we are comprised of 23 physicians and 7 nurse practitioners. We account for 10,000 admissions and in excess of 70,000 patient encounters yearly.
