Philosophy:
Raised in the mountains of Colorado I have always had a deep love for nature and the power it has to revitalize the spirit and the body.
Naturopathic medicine, and my approach to its practice, takes on a lot of traits from my experiences in nature and at the mercy of the powerful forces of nature. Naturopathic Medicine itself is a humble practice that requires acute senses attuned to the subtle signs of the body.
In my sessions with patients I listen intently to their stories allowing the patterns of their disturbance to come to the surface. When addressing a patient I combine my skills in craniosacral therapeutic touch with traditional psychotherapeutic techniques to facilitate rapid transformation in a practice that I call Body Counseling. Emotional and physical traumas that are held within the tissues can be accessed with physical touch and brought to the surface or mind for reprocessing. As this occurs the body is able to transform radically and rapidly.
