About:
I grew up in a small town where a person's good name was more valuable than a quick sale. I don't like to play sales games with people. Instead, I see my job as one of providing service that goes above and beyond your expectations. Included in that is regular, straighforward communication and real, hands on efforts to either find you a home or sale your home. You'll find me to be someone who enjoys a good laugh but takes seriously the trust you put in me.
I believe what sets me apart from other agents is my backround. I grew up building homes with my stepfather, so I am often able to help my clients avoid homes that are poorly constructed or have issues with deferred maintenance. My wife and I have been buying and selling investment properties for the past 14 years which helps me when working with real estate investors. I spent 5 years as a buyer and contract administrator, so I'm comfortable negotiating large deals and familiar with contract language. I also have a masters degree in counseling psychology with 4 years experience as a therapist. I know that may sound funny but I think it helps me listen and ask questions better than many agents, and that, in turn, helps me serve my clients better.
