Philosophy:
Are your work and home responsibilities consuming you? Do you tend to Go Go Go, then crash and burn? Do you need to have a "good cry" more often, but it's still not helping? You're not alone. Approximately 30% of Americans say they experience extreme stress - unfortunately, women more than men. Ambitious, professional women are even more vulnerable. Common effects of stress are poor sleep, lack of energy, irritability and physical problems. Some people even get depressed.
Simple actions such as taking a "mental health" day can work, but sometimes you can be so rundown that you need an objective professional to help you get untangled. As a therapist I can work with you to help you decompress and bring balance to your life.
As a doctor, I can determine whether you have a disorder such as depression that needs medical attention. Let me help you pull yourself out of the chaos. Call or email me to get on the road to relief.
