Philosophy:
Dr. Kuether received his medical degree from University of Kansas in 1993. He then moved to Portland to begin his internship and residency which he completed in 2000.
Dr. Kuether trained for 7 years in Neurosurgery at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. He has been in private practice for over 10 years since completing his Fellowship in Interventional Neurosurgery. Dr. Kuether is also board certified in Neurosurgery.
Dr. Kuether performs all aspects of brain and spine surgery, including complex tumors and reconstruction, as well as minimally invasive surgery, and non fusion technology such as artificial cervical and lumbar disc replacement.
Dr. Kuether has offices at Meridian Park and operates at Legacy Good Samaritan, Legacy Emanuel, Wilshire Surgery Center (which is located across from St. Vincent Hospital in Beaverton) and South Portland Surgery Center (which is located across the street from Meridian Park Hospital in Tualatin).
