I've been doing this for a long time. I have a big repertoire of methods and ideas. If one approach fails, I try another. I'm hopeful and persistent; I don't give up on clients. I assume that every client can be helped. Clients have a right to ask questions, and I do my best to give honest and helpful answers. I keep treatment short and practical whenever possible. Some cases take longer than others, of course. I avoid jargon and left-field theories. I'm patient and kind, but I look for the funny side sometimes, and like to laugh with my clients.
