Thomas Allen, Urbanista’s President, is the principal figure in the day-to-day operations, strategic planning and overall vision for Urbanista. Thomas shapes the company’s brand through his hands-on involvement with marketing and public relations initiatives; builds and maintains alliances with key real estate entities and professionals; and directs Urbanista’s affiliates. In all of these functions, Thomas’ primary objective is to ensure that Urbanista remains-as it has throughout its existence-the industry leader in forward-thinking, customer service centered real estate firms.<br /><br />Thomas’ vision for Urbanista was for the firm to be a boldly different kind of real estate company, one characterized by its full-service approach to client relationships. By providing a well-rounded package of services, Urbanista is redefining what it means to be a real estate company in Downtown Orlando.<br /><br />In addition to being a primary force in executing Urbanista’s philosophy of real estate as a customer service business, Thomas also built the company’s corporate relocation division, from the ground up. Urbanista currently serves more than 100 Central Florida corporations-from Fortune 500 companies and major financial firms to other top relocation companies. Thomas also created Urbanista Landlord Services Division, which provides landlords with the benefit of working with a staff of highly skilled professionals to ensure that their buildings are operating with the lowest possible vacancy rate and yielding the highest returns. Through Urbanista Outreach, Thomas consistently supports a number of charities, as he and his staff are dedicated to giving back to the community.<br /><br />In addition to its affiliates, Urbanitsa maintains the city’s largest database of listings in over 10 high-rise towers, many of which are exclusives. Recognized as the industry’s rental leader, the company’s sales volume has increased eight fold in the past four years. This sales growth has positioned Urbanista as one of the top 10 sales brokerages in Orlando. This ranking is due in part to the company’s ever-expanding services and dedication to providing its agents and brokers with proven sales training programs.<br /><br />Originally from Mount Dora, FL, Thomas earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami, and then attained his Video Engineering Degree from Full Sail University, Winter Park, FL. Over the next several years, he corporately worked for the Orlando Magic in Orlando, FL, AVID Technologies in Los Angeles and NRT Coldwell Banker – The Condo Store in Atlanta, GA. As a natural progression, he created Urbanista in 2006. Thomas, a licensed broker, is a member of the Real Estate Board of Greater Orlando.
