Inclusion in the Registry is an honor limited to individuals who have demonstrated leadership and achievement in their industry and occupation. With this award Mr. Knight has been distinguished as the most prolific business executive in the field of education this year. Mr. Knight began his career at Fieldstone Academy in October of 2008. At the time Mr. Knight was in charge of overseeing and caring for the growing number of students coming to the Richfield, Utah campus for an advanced college preparatory experience. In the summer of 2010 it became obvious that Fieldstone Academy had grown to such a size that the Richfield campus could no longer house the growing number of students. Fieldstone Academy opened it doors in Gunnison, Utah in October 2010. With the larger campus came the need for a larger student body. Mr. Knight became pivotal in establishing relationships with foreign education consultants and agents and with his years of business experience Mr. Knight was appointed as the first Director of International Recruiting at Fieldstone Academy. Mr. Knight continues to push for a diverse student body population at Fieldstone Academy and recently has spent time in China, Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Kuwait and The United Arab Emirates. Though he comes off as a seasoned businessman, ready to close a deal with the stroke of a pen, when it comes to the kids whose lives he has touched, Thomas is just their big friend, who in their times of need has always had his office door open.
