Having a passion for history and preservation. Mr. Pattie has worked in the appraisal, antiques and auction industries for 40 years. Mr. Pattie has managed other regional auction houses serving the Mid Atlantic States, and also performed onsite appraisals across the U.S. for international auction houses. He has been an estate specialist and a business development professional in the industry. Mr. Pattie has taught college courses on appraising antiques, has been a licensed auctioneer for 35 years, is a qualified expert witness in his field, and is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and the Virginia Auctioneers Association. Previously, he was a member of the International Society of Appraisers and the New England Appraisers Association. Mr. Pattie has taught college accredited courses in antique appraising at the Northern Virginia Community College, and has completed numerous ISA appraisal courses. He has done Road Show type Appraisals and has generously contributed his auctioneering and appraisal talents to benefit numerous charitable institutions.
