Dr. Thomas Ransbottom joined Mid-Ohio Gastroenterology in 1986 after returning from Florida where he practiced at Kissimmee Medical Center. He was part of the 1996 merger, consisting of three Columbus area gastroenterology practices, which became Ohio Gastroenterology Group, Inc. He is double-board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Ransbottom has received a number of awards for his excellence in educating medical students.
