A floral greeting card is provided which includes two sections. A partially assembled receptacle base is provided which can be easily expanded into a rigid hollow receptacle base having a slanted or angled front face. Bottom flaps form an interlocking panel when the receptacle blank is expanded. The inside surface of the bottom portion of the receptacle is coated with a water-resistant material and a block of treated foam material is inserted in the bottom of the receptacle for holding the stems of a floral arrangement and providing nutrients to retain the freshness of the flowers. A face card having a central aperture and various designs and greetings can be attached to the tapered face of the receptacle to provide a pleasing presentation. The flowers are positioned through the opening in the face card and retained in the foam block. The face card can cover both the front and rear surfaces of the receptacle base and carry a design and greeting on one or both sides.
