Philosophy:
Whether one seeks relief from anxiety, traumatic reexperiencing, relational impasses, or life disillusionment, therapy can help. It is unfortunate that our current model of healthcare and the cookie-cutter model of therapist-education seem to fail so many clients, who in good faith seek to discover a healing of heart and mind. As a dynamic and integral therapist, I view my role as an empathic change agent employed to help bring about a fuller knowledge of self and a more liberated experience of life and relationship. It is my honor to assist clients interested in embarking upon their journey towards healing.
Overall, my clinical work is defined by a deep intersubjectivity where I join in direct contact with the client's life experience. To help understand and navigate the healing process, I may draw upon psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, existential-humanistic, family-systems, experiential, cognitive-behavioral, transpersonal, trauma-informed, dialectical, and client-centered orientations
