As an Occupational therapist I specialize in prevention, wellness, activities of daily living and cognitive retraining, issues with our aging population, ergonomics, industrial rehabilitation and working with children with special needs. I became aware of many things that could improve the health of people beyond traditional modalities by combining medical & holistic models together to improve the well being of an individual. I studied modalities of massage, Transformational Movement lessons, Funcitonal Synethesis, CrainioSacral, Child space, and Reiki to add to the effectiveness of my treatments. I assist the client to choose these various approaches to improve the quality of their life, as well as referring them to medical and holistic practitioners to achieve the best outcome for each client's individual needs. Encouraging people to live a healthy life style through therapy and teaching is my passion!
