Everyone knows someone who has had cancer, and there is a lot of misinformation out there. I truely believe that when a patient understands their disease, it doesn't seem as daunting anymore. My goals for a breast cancer patient are to offer the best care possible while maintaining a good quality of life. As your physician, I promise to be your champion and to always have your best interest in mind. I also see patients at increased risk of breast cancer and counsel regarding options.
