SKILLS: Full-time charge nurse with the responsibility of maintaining a unit with a census of 30 resident's and supervising three nurse aids. I'm familiar with admitting residents, discharges, head to toe assessments, wound dressing, skin assessments, hanging tube feeding's in a timely manner, monitoring TPN's, changing Foley catheter's, daily accu-checks, isolation precaution, adding antibiotic's to an IV, starting a hypodermoclysis, hospice comfort care, utilizing good nursing judgment, working closely with family members, establishing a good rapport with the residents, responding quickly and effectively to a code blue ( patient requiring immediate attention), ordering stat labs, ordering X-rays, providing trach care and suctioning. Working together with the staff as a team making sure the residents get all necessary treatments. Also, I have CENA experience which required me to assist resident's with total care, such as assuring that resident's maintain their optimum level of functioning, assisting with daily activities which are maintaining good hygiene, vital signs, monitoring nutritional value (intake) and (outputs), taking residents out on appointments, completing delegated nursing task and etc.
