I believe in meeting each client where they are using a strength based approach. Each client participates in their own treatment guided by a treatment plan with goals & target dates. I believe in the validity of between session work & holding my clients accountable for their emotional health so I assign homework.I use cognitive & behavioral techniques in practice as well as play therapy & expressive arts. I pride myself on discretion & my client's right to privacy & adhere to HIPPA guidelines. On going assessment of my client's needs is essential & when necessary referrals are made for medication & testing.
