About:
Have you ever had the experience of purchasing an item, then checking with another store only to find out that you could have saved money? How did you feel? Were you mad at the first store or mad at yourself? Either way, you promised yourself that next time around you wouldn’t make that mistake again.

Now imagine that instead of purchasing an item at a store, you had made a major financial decision, such as buying a home. After completing your purchase, you find out that other similar homes in the neighborhood had sold for less. Or the builder or current homeowner had not done the quality of work that you were led to believe. Now how do you feel? If you can imagine that feeling, you will know how I felt several years ago, because that is exactly what happened to me.

Unlike purchasing a store-bought item, buying a home is not something you do everyday. Because of the nature of real estate, it is often difficult to find all the information that you need to make a good decision. As I learned, a good realtor will do everything in their power to make sure that you are protected and have all the information you need to make an informed decision. Others will only do the bare minimum needed to get their commission and move on to the next sale. And unless you have access and knowledge of all the homes (not just the ones that the realtor wants you to see) that have sold recently, you don’t have all the information! Unless your realtor spends time researching the market and area you are looking in, they will know NO more about it than you do! Let me be your “consumer advocate”, by providing you with ALL the information you need, after all, that is the reason I became a realtor: to protect people, not to make myself rich
