As a therapist, I believe that I am only part of a team which includes the client and may include others (family, partners, school etc.). I am a guide/mentor/listener/teacher -without judgement. In the nurturing environment of my office, I support and encourage the client to develop ways to cope with stress, anxiety, disappointments, low self esteem etc. Upsetting past events are discussed in the context of how they effect present life when necessary at the client's own pace.
