I am a third generation of women realtors in my family. I have extensive real estate background beginning in 1975 as an escrow officer with Ticor Title in Santa Clara county, CA. I progressed into residential loan processing & servicing, before settling into residential property management and sales in 1980. I have been in the top producer in residential sales in my area for the past consecutive 10 years. <br /><br />As a homeowner, here in the heart of the Heavenly Valley ski resort, I have a vested interest in our market. I enjoy helping many of the out of area (second homeowners) owners with their vacation rental properties, which includes property maintenance & remodel assistance. Many of my owners rent their properties on sites such as vacation rentals by owner (vrbo.com) and call me for assistance. As a goodwill service, I share a wealth of resources and information to help them overcome some of the challenges of owning a mountain home. <br /><br />I originally came to this beautiful lake in the 60s when my grandma (Carolyn House of Rylander & House in Sunnyvale, CA) first opened a branch office in South Lake Tahoe, CA. I joined my grandma's Tahoe office in 1980 and began my real estate career.<br />In 1988 I obtained by NV Brokers license and in 2000 opened Sierra Tahoe Real Estate.
