Philosophy:
Sunita's care philosophy is to be gentle, yet firmly persistent in helping clients find direction, make choices of right and wrong for themselves, uncovering their ability to tell reality from distortion and delusion, her clients have found the experience positive, insightful, and intellectual. This opens the doors to lasting happiness and a sense of reality for them. She uses introspection, self-examination, self-actualization with them, to greatly increase their sensitivity and attitude about what is really important in human experience. After the initial evaluation, she develops an individualized treatment plan for each client. Her techniques include; cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, psychoeducation, relaxation training, hypnosis, parenting skills training, and play therapy. She counsels individuals, families, couples, including problems with infidelity, self-esteem, abuse issues, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorder, loss and grief, and traumas.
