Philosophy:
Urogenital issues such as urinary incontinence and prolapse/ while not being life threatening conditions/ can have a strong negative impact on one's quality of life. These issues are also viewed differently in various cultures. My approach to a woman has always been towards improving this quality of life in a multimodal fashion. Subspecialty training through fellowship has given me a strong education towards approaching these concerns. My interests include surgical therapy as well as minimally invasive non-surgical approaches to treatment. Outside of my research and clinical interests/ I enjoy walking/ singing/ and cultural activities. I spent a few formative years in India which has taught me to see things from different perspectives - years that I will always cherish.
