Previously, Dr. Swengel was practicing clinical dermatology and Mohs skin cancer surgery with The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. since 1980 and has been Chief of the Department of Dermatology at Santa Teresa for the 23 years. For the past 7 years, Dr. Swengel has been the Chief of The Department of MohâÂÂs Surgery at Kaiser San Jose. In addition, Dr. Swengel was co-founder and co-director of Kaiser's Centers for Aesthetic Services in Northern California.
