About:
Steven’s first personal rental property was purchased in May of 1983. After more than 20 years in the property management and sales arena, Steven now specializes in single-family homes, multi- unit residential property, first time homebuyers, and residential investment property. Additionally, Steven works with relocation professionals throughout the world in locating property for Buyers arriving to the Las Vegas area. Steven works with people relocating outside the Las Vegas area to ensure a smooth move into their new home. Steven excels in selling difficult property and/or expired listings in addition to locating property with the most difficult requirements.<br /><br />Steven earned his Broker- Salesman credential in 2006. Steven and his wife Sharon Goldman (Realtor, GRI, SRES, ABR, PM) are associated with Realty One Group, Las Vegas, NV. <br />Steven was the Lead Instructor for the Real Estate Salesman Pre-licensing course at the Real Estate Academy in Las Vegas, NV. He held this position for more than 3 years. Through his efforts, hundreds of students have earned their Nevada real estate salesman license.<br /><br />Steven teaches Post Licensing and Continuing Education classes, as an independent contractor for Escrow, Title, Broker’s, and Mortgage companies helping to fulfill their education needs.<br /><br />Steven continues to disseminate his knowledge to others that want to become successful Real Estate agents by providing a formal Mentorship program for individual agents. This one-on-one program allows a custom program for each recipient to expand their knowledge according to their own interests.<br /><br />The following is a sample of the education that Steven has received. This education places Steven in the top 3% of Realtors in the country .<br /> <br />After becoming a Realtor®, Steven continued his education as a professional in the real estate industry. The following is a portion of the education and designations that Steven has received:<br /><br />The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS): <br />The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest Designation awarded to sales<br />associates in the residential sales field. The CRS Designation recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education. Since 1977 the Council of Residential Specialists has been conferring the CRS Designation on agents who meet its stringent requirements. Currently, less than 4% of Realtors nationwide have earned this award.<br /><br />Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI): <br />This educational credential was developed for members of the National Association of<br />Realtors® and offered through State Realtor® Associations, the GRI program includes<br />90 hours of coursework on various topics such as marketing and servicing listed properties to comply with real estate law. The Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation indicates to buyers, sellers, and other real estate industry professionals that you have made the commitment to provide a high level of professional service to your clients by securing a strong educational foundation. The GRI designation is obtained by attending a specific, intensive series of a minimum of 90 hours of classroom instruction, covering subjects in contract law, professional standards, sales, marketing, finance and risk reduction. The subject matter has been chosen to educate practitioners about local, state and national real estate practices that affect them and their clients.<br /><br />Accredited Buyers Representative:<br />The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation is the benchmark of excellence<br />in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors®, to real estate practitioners who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.<br /><br />Seniors Real Estate Specialists: <br />The SRES program is the only program specifically designed to serve senior property<br />Sellers and Buyers. SRES designees demonstrate specific knowledge and expertise to counsel senior clients through out the major financial and lifestyle transitions involved in relocating, refinancing, or selling a home.<br /> <br />Hobbies:<br />Steven earned his Ham Radio Amateur Extra license (N7JAZ) and is active on the Board of Directors and the Technical Committee of the Nellis Air Force Base Radio Amateur Club in Las Vegas, NV. Steven is certified by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) as a Volunteer Examiner (VE). A VE provides the testing and certification required for the issuance of a federal Amateur Radio License by the US Federal Communication Commission. He has continued to give to the community by providing free Amateur radio instruction classes in the Las Vegas area for more than 5 years. Steven uses his ability to effectively communicate to provide safety and health communications support to the March of Dimes, Walk Again Foundation, Baker to Vegas Relay Race, and Corporate Challenge events throughout the year.
