I remember the first time I fell in love with housing. As a child, my next door neighbor was a contractor. He had a large garage. Often either he or one of his crew would be working in there. The guys were great. They took me under their wings and let me think I was helping them. Little did they know they WERE helping me. <br /><br />Fast forward to high school (Bishop McDevitt, class of 93) and college (Moravian College, class of 97). . . In order to fulfill my parent's dreams of going to college, I had to work in construction to help pay the bills. Here, I took what I fell in love with as a child and put it to good use. I was very lucky to work with great contractors who showed me what makes a great house.<br /><br />Years later I got involved in adjusting insurance claims for my brothers in law. They needed an estimator and I had tons of construction experience at this time. While adjusting. . . I met numerous real estate investors. Some opened my eyes to investing in multi-family homes. I again. . . dove right in and bought a few duplexes. Years later a close friend said, "You know how to build them, you know how to insure them, you know how to be a landlord. . . why not take the test and be an agent?" I haven't looked back. <br /><br />2013 was my most successful year ever in the business. Let me make your home buying or selling experience a success.
