I stress developing a rapport with patients that permits their expressing their concerns and my understanding of their experience, strengths and interpersonal resources. I work collaboratively with primary care physicians, school staff and psychiatrists. Treatment plans are derived with patients and for adolescents, with parents. I utilize a therapy model influenced by interpersonal, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and family systems approaches and employ evidence-based treatment methods.
