Dr Stephen Solomon is one of the most experienced eye surgeons in the area, having performed thousands of successful lens replacement surgeries since he began practicing four decades ago. Dr. Solomon's education began after accepting an academic scholarship to the Temple University, Philadelphia, PA where he completed his Bachelors of Science in Biology. He continued his medical schooling at the Temple University School of Medicine, and an Ophthalmology Residency in the United States Public Health Services, New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Solomon has served as Chief of Ophthalmology at Doctors Community Hospital, Dimensions Surgical Center, and has served as chief ophthalmic consultant to the University of Maryland, Department of Athletics. Dr. Solomon is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and Maryland Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
