Philosophy:
No single theoretical school adequately explains the totality of human behavior, so I belong to no single "school" of therapy. Am trained in psychodynamic therapy, family systems, Gestalt therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, hypnosis, yoga and meditation--among others. It is also the case that different people need different kinds of therapy relationships in order for therapy to be effective. I am sometimes an analyst, a coach, a teacher, a facilitator--relationships are tailored to clients.
