It is easy as an MD to just focus on the medical aspect but I always try to understand the emotional aspect of each patient, as it relates to the condition I am treating, i.e. how the patient feels. Finally, I am not a prescription happy neurologist, when there are non pharmacological options, I always encourage that including complementary and alternative methods.
