Philosophy:
My patients get highly personal care. I try to understand the big picture of your life. I believe in the biologic basis of psychiatric symptoms and the value of medication for symptom control. But often, more work is needed to have a good life. I am informal, friendly, warm and believe in straight talk. I never see patients for brief 15 minute visits. Patients do best if you have a real relationship with them and if they feel that you care about them as real people and are glad to see them.
