Single and multiple plane contoured water ski corrective wedges secured or formed between the water ski bindings and water skis are provided to position a water skier's feet on water skis in closer to normal positions relative to their legs, knees, and hips to provide better control of the water skis and to comfortably position the water skier's feet to avoid improper stressing of their feet, knees, legs and back. Better overall water ski performances are accomplished as the water skier uses his or her forefoot more extensively than previously, when most control was derived from the using of only the rearfoot. Depending on the selections made by water skiers, they use single and/or multiple plane contoured receiving corrective wedges, under either one or both of their feet. These water ski corrective wedges are used with a slalom water ski, and with water skis to be used at the same time on the respective right and left foot of a water skier. The water ski corrective wedges are made separately, and/or preformed with the bindings, and/or with the water skis.

The subject dynamoelectric machine comprises an armature between two field assemblies. The armature may rotate between the field assemblies or vice versa. The armature has three two-coil windings with the coils of each winding located diametrically opposite each other on the armature and wound in opposite directions. Each field assembly comprises a field ring, winding cores (or permanent magnets) and pole faces which span essentially 180. degree. , there being a north face and a south face for each field assembly. The field assemblies are positioned with like faces facing each other. The commutation apparatus energizes each armature winding just as it is positioned completely between the field pole faces and de-energizes it just before it starts to move out from between the faces because of the relative motion between the armature and field assemblies. The machine concept is adaptable to pancake and cylindrical configuration. The opposite direction winding of the armature coils virtually eliminates armature inductance and reaction effects.

Fluid flow velocity and turbulence are computed by processing bridge excitation voltage provided in hot wire or hot film anemometry. A system utilizing a log converter circuit provides an output signal which is substantially linear with fluid temperature and a probe temperature setting potentiometer provides a signal voltage representative of the difference between hot probe operating temperature and the fluid temperature.
