Shella earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and worked for a number of years in industries ranging from aerospace to fiber optics. She eventually ventured out as a self-employed entrepreneur and founded her own real-estate brokerage firm, which she has owned and operated successfully ever since.
