Dr. Thompson's professional training stated at the University of California at Berkeley where she recieved her Master of Public Health focusing on maternal and child health. She went to medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and trained in obstetrics and gynecology at Harvard University affiliated hospitals in Boston, MA.
