He is certified as a trainer for Aggression Control Technique and is a Clinical Supervisor with the State of Florida. He holds his national credentials through the NBCC or the National Board of Certified Counselors. He also specializes in dealing with Spiritual Issues.
Shane works with individuals, teens and couples. Ages 10 and up.
Shane has a wonderful reputation as a therapist in our community and is known to deal with the most difficult of cases.
He became the Director of the Counseling Center of New Smyrna Beach in 2008.
His approach to counseling is eclectic in nature, but he draws strongly from cognitive behavioral and supportive therapy techniques.
He specializes in the treatment of abuse and trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, addiction, codependency, separation, divorce and relationship issues.
Shane will work with you to realize your goals and fullest potential. If you plan to see Shane don?t expect to lie back on the couch (although he has one) and just talk about your problems. Expect wisdom, insight, solutions and feedback to help you work through and overcome your life challenges. Expect that not only will the problem be solved, but that with enough work, your life will be better than you ever imagined it could be.
