Dr Griggs is a fellowship trained, board certified orthopedic upper extremity surgeon. He did his orthopedic surgery residency at Brown University. Dr Griggs completed a year in hand, Upper Extremity and Microsurgery fellowship at the University of Texas in Houston, and a Shoulder and Elbow Surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. After, a partnership at University Orthopedics Incorporated in Providence Rhode Island Dr Griggs joined Hand Surgery Associates in June of 2004. His training is inclusive of the entire upper extremity but he specializes in the elbow and shoulder
