Philosophy:
Dr. Falci is a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and completed his neurosurgical residency at Georgetown in 1992. He received his undergraduate training at Princeton University, Princeton, N.J. Dr. Falci initiated and designed the First Transplantation of Embryonic Nerve Cells for Spinal Cord Injury Project at Craig Center for Spinal Cord Research in collaboration with the Spinalis SCI Research Unit, Karolinska Institute, Huddinge University Hospital, Stockholm, and the department of Neurosurgery, University of Uppsala in Sweden. His specialties include: Surgical treatments for posttraumatic spinal cord tethering, postraumatic syringomyelia, posttraumatic neuropathic pain, spinal deformities, spasticity, as well as research in neuropathic pain and stem cell development for spinal cord injury.
