Cars and antiques.

Homes, history, architecture, antiques and cars have been of interest to Scott since he was a child growing up in Wayne. From his parents, his Dad a local family physician and his Mom a teacher, he learned to appreciate the local area for its ties to Colonial America. His interests helped point him in the direction of Real Estate as a career, and in 1979 he obtained his Real Estate license. After many successful years working for and running other Real Estate offices he convinced his brother Brett to join him in the field and in 1990 they purchased a RE/MAX office in Wayne. A few years later they seized the opportunity to own their own building and moved to their current location in St. Davids to become RE/MAX Classic. <br /> <br />During his extensive career spanning 31 years, Scott has worked on obtaining certifications such as his Brokers License, CRS (Council of Residential Specialists), GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and ASR (Accredited Seller Representative). He has also received the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award, is a Member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and the RE/MAX Platinum Club. He was ranked number 3 for 2009 in the Pennsylvania and Delaware Regional of RE/MAX International. Not one to sit idly by, he has continued his education in real estate and added certifications as a SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist and has recently completed his CDPE Designation (Certified Distressed Property Expert). <br /> <br />Scott is actively involved in fund raising for the ALS Hope Foundation in honor of his father, the American Cancer Society in honor of his mother and many other local community programs. <br /> <br />Scott, his wife, two daughters, the oldest that is just finishing her first year in college, the younger that is learning to drive and their adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel “Charlie” reside in Bryn Mawr. Scott continues to indulge in his love and interest in cars, antiques and with his brother Brett, invest in various residential and commercial real estate properties in the area.
