Philosophy:
I truly believe that everyone who walks through my door is there for a purpose. Therapy is approached from a Christian perspective offering spiritual encouragement to those who need it. My focus is on meeting the needs of families and individuals by assisting couples in learning new ways to reconnect with their spouse through better communication skills and learning to recognize how to strengthen their marriage relationship. This can be accomplished by first acknowledging the areas of personal growth that might be required by each spouse. Parent/child relationships seem to be more of a struggle now than ever before. As a mother and a stepmother, I find great pleasure in working with children and their parents to resolve conflicts and to make changes in the home that will elicit positive changes that bring families closer together.
